Duchess Kate and Prince William played bingo with residents from a Cardiff care home via Zoom on Thursday, and it sure looks like they had a great time!
On Thursday, Duchess Catherine and Prince William joined a very excited and happy group of residents from the Shire Hall care home in Cardiff, Wales for a video call via Zoom and if the clip below is any indication, everybody had an amazing time!
Check out the video and see the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge turn into bingo callers and prove that they actually know all the right terms while they joined residents Margaret Stocks, Margaret Jones, Ray Donoghue and Joan Drew-Smith for a game.
Duchess Catherine: "Six and two, tickety boo"
In the clip, we can see Prince William saying: "Catherine is going to pick out the first ball," as she held it up to the screen for the residents to see and announced: "So, the first number is five and eight, 58." William then chose the next ball and held it up to the screen, calling out: "One little duck, number two," followed by Kate calling out the next two balls: "Eight and seven, 87. Six and two, tickety boo."
Eventually, Prince William asked the winner Joan if him and his wife did a good job hosting the game and she said they did "very good," before adding: "wasn't as good as it should have been," which prompted a great deal of laughter from Will and Kate. They said goodbye and William promised: "We'll try and do a bit better at bingo next time."
