Duchess Meghan Wants as Natural a Birth as Possible

Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan showing their luck and their love in public.

The newest addition to the Royal Family will be arriving in just a few weeks time and speculation has been rife about everything from where Meghan will give birth to whether she will be having twins. It has now been revealed that the Duchess of Sussex is hoping to have as natural a birth as possible.

Prince Harry (34) and Duchess Meghan's (37) baby is due to arrive in late April and there have been countless rumours about baby Sussex since the couple announced they were expecting last autumn. According to The Mail on Sunday, Meghan hopes to have as natural a birth as possible.

However, Hello! reports that the Royal Household gynaecologists Alan Farthing and Guy Thorpe-Beeston, who specialises in high-risk births, will, in fact, be on hand should anything go wrong. The medics were present at all three of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's children's births and also in attendance when Princess Anne and Princess Diana gave birth, so it looks like Meghan will have the best possible care.

Unlike Kate: Meghan will not be posing with her firstborn in front of the Lindo Wing

The Sussexes' move to Windsor last week means that Meghan will probably not opt to give birth in the famous Lindo Wing at St Mary's Hospital in London, which is where Duchess Kate (37) gave birth to her three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Princess Louis. This means that, unlike after Prince Louis's arrival, we probably won't get to see photos of their firstborn until a few days after Meghan has given birth and the couple are back home.

Prince Louis was born on April 23 2018 and is now fifth in line for the throne.

It seems very likely that Meghan will deliver the new addition to the Royal Family at Frimley Park Hospital in Surrey, which is a thirty minute drive from Frogmore Cottage.
