Earlier this week it was announced that Harry and Meghan will no longer use the "Royal Sussex" name. Now they have released a new statement not only confirming it, but also making reference as being treated differently to other family members.

Harry and Meghan released a statement on their official website confirming that they will no longer use the "Sussex Royal" name after Spring 2020.

While they insist they will keep their His and Her Royal Highness titles, they won't actively use them. Royal experts claim that the couple appeared to complain that the palace is treating them differently to other royal family members.

The statement read: "While there is precedent for other titled members of the Royal Family to seek employment outside of the institution, for The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, a 12-month review period has been put in place."

Royal experts believe "it’s pretty clear they are referencing minor royals such as Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie," who are not considered to be senior working royals and who have full time jobs.
