Internet Troll Nabs Archewell Non-Profit Domain To Throw Shade At Harry and Meghan
Just two days after Harry and Meghan made the announcement for the name of their new foundation, an Internet troll has already scooped up the domain and used it to throw negativity at the Duchess of Sussex.
Last week, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex made the announcement that their new non-profit foundation would be called Archewell, a sweet nod to their son's name Archie. They explained the reasoning behind the chosen brand name and said that they will launch "when the time is right."
Internet Troll Scoops Up Archewell Domain
Now, as TMZ reports, someone purchased the domain archewellfoundation.com before Harry and Meghan did. Furthermore, if you click on that specific URL, it redirects you to YouTube - specifically to Kanye West's music video for his 2005 hit "Gold Digger."
Throwing Shade At Meghan Markle: "Gold Digger"
This apparent shade is directed at Meghan Markle, questioning her motive for marrying Prince Harry back in 2018. This is a low blow considering Harry and Meghan have done their part to leave the British Royal Family and become financially independent.
Some are saying this is a hard lesson for the former royal couple who is now out on their own and already lost this specific domain. They still have other options for a URL, like a dot org, however they are going to need to step up their media game now that they are in Hollywood!
