Meghan Markle & Prince Harry Spotted In Masks - And Cadillac SUV - During Outing In Beverly Hills
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry made a rare public appearance when they were spotted during an outing in Beverly Hills on July 10. See the photos that show the Sussexes with masks and a bulky Cadillac SUV.
The Beverly Hills sunshine didn't stop Harry and Meghan from responsibly sporting masks during an errand run over the weekend.
The couple was photographed on Friday afternoon in the Los Angeles County city, while waiting for a valet to return their vehicle. For the outing, Prince Harry looked casual in a baseball cap and polo shirt, while Duchess Meghan was understated yet stylish in a sun hat, sunglasses, and what Hello! identified as a $100 Magic Linen dress.
Both also wore matching pale masks as the COVID-19 pandemic continues to affect their recently adopted home state of California. As People reports, the state has so far recorded over 300,000 cases of the disease.
After a momentary roadside wait, Harry and Meghan were reunited with their bulky Cadillac SUV and on their way home.

In three-and-a-half months since stepping down as senior royals, Harry and Meghan have shifted their focus to social causes such as racial injustice, but also to environmental activism.
Nevertheless, their choice of personal vehicle has led some to cry "hypocrisy" in light of these charity efforts. The Daily Mail, which first obtained the new paparazzi photos, joined royal critics in drawing attention to the couple's use of a Cadillac Escalade — which the outlet characterizes as a "gas-guzzling" vehicle that is "as far from environmentally-friendly as you can get."
Other royals, such as Prince Charles, have similarly been singled out for creating a sizeable carbon footprint while travelling the globe to speak out on causes relating to environmental conservation.
Meghan and Harry still live at Tyler Perry's L.A. mansion
The precise nature of Meghan and Harry's Friday outing wasn't confirmed. But it's unlikely that it was an official event related to their foundation or charity work, seeing as it was only documented by onlooking photographers.
The couple, who no longer use their royal titles (but do remain The Duke and Duchess of Sussex), have been living in Los Angeles with their 1-year-old son, Archie, since March. They remain on the lookout for a home of their own as well, while they in the meantime reside at a mansion owned by actor Tyler Perry.
