Prince George's Godmother Reveals What He's Like At Home: "Feisty And Cheeky"
Prince George's godmother Julia Samuel has now shared some secrets about Prince George and what the young royal is really like at home. Read on to find out more!
Julia Samuel was chosen as one of Prince George's godparents since she was a close friend of Princess Diana, after getting to know her at a dinner party in 1987, and it turns out that she is quite close to her godson.
Samuel recently appeared on the podcast How to Fail with Elizabeth Day and shared some secrets about the little royal prince, giving us all a great glimpse into what he's like at home.
Julia Samuel: "He is amazing. He's funny..."
The 60-year-old psychiatrist told novelist Elizabeth Day on her podcast: "He is amazing. He's funny and feisty and cheeky and God she (Diana) would have loved him so much. That is heartbreaking for all of them."
"So I do to George what (Diana) did to us which is give impossible toys which are really noisy, take a lot of making. I come in slightly tipped by the size of the present that William then has to spend days putting together. And then put all the machinery together and it makes awful tooting noises and lights flashing and all of that. That makes me laugh and it makes George laugh."
What a beautiful tradition in remembrance of the late Princess of Wales, who "would have been the most magnificent grandmother", according to her old friend Rosa Monckton, who wrote about Diana in an op-ed in 2013.
