Meghan Markle and Prince Harry attended the first game of the two game series with the Major League Baseball teams in London with the New York Yankees and the Boston Red Socks. The New York Yankees took the win as well as winning over the Duke and Duchess of Sussex with their custom made gift for baby Archie.

Ahead of the big game on Saturday June 29th, Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan visited both teams to wish them good luck in the game. Both teams gave the royal couple a little gift as a token of their appreciation for their 7-week-old son Archie. It seems as though the New York Yankees might have won in the gift department as they gave little Archie a custom made jersey with his name on it as well as the number 19 which is a nod to the year he was born.

Tonight, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended the first of a two game series of the Major League Baseball #LondonSeries, in support of @WeAreInvictusGames. Tonight's highly anticipated game between the #Yankees and #RedSox took place at London stadium, Olympic Park. The @WeAreInvictusGames, of which His Royal Highness is Founding Patron, has been selected as charity partner for the @MLB 2019 series. The Invictus Games Foundation is the international charity that oversees the development of the Invictus Games, an international adaptive multi-sport event in which wounded, injured or sick armed service personnel and veterans participate. It celebrates the power of sport in recovery and how it can help, physically or psychologically, those suffering from injuries or illness. The word 'invictus' means 'unconquered' - it embodies the fighting spirit of the competitors. As part of the partnership, the Invictus Games Foundation have a team participating in London's #Softball60, the social softball series built for the city and targeted to introduce the sport to new audiences and demonstrate that it is an inclusive sport. On this #ArmedForcesDay, tonight's event was also a chance for Their Royal Highnesses to shine a light on the men and women here in the UK and around the world who have sacrificed so much for their country. "This is incredible"

Meghan was so excited she gasped and put her hand over her mouth as she saw the cute little gift! We can only imagine it reminded her a little bit of home. "This is incredible. Thank you." she noted to the team. The couple was also given a cute little onesie from the Boston Red Sox as well.

All smiles at the MLB game

Meghan and Harry were both wearing black to the game which suggests that they were not outwardly rooting for either team, although Duchess Meghan has been spotted sporting a New York Yankees cap in the past. The couple was all smiles as they attended the game eve though sources say they didn't get much sleep the night before, according to People Magazine
