Prince Harry Drops His Royal Titles & Asks To Be Called Just "Harry" In Edinburgh
Prince Harry dropped his royal titles during an appearance in Edinburgh today and asked the host to just "call him Harry". He was speaking at the working summit for Travalyst, his sustainable tourism project founded last year.
The Duke of Sussex will oly be stepping back as a senior member of the royal family effective March 31st, but it seems that he is already trying to get used to his new status.
Before speaking at an even for Travalyst at Edinburgh International Conference Center, he first quickly talked to host Ayesha Hazarika, who then went on and introduced him to the crowd in a refreshing way.
"Give a big, warm, Scottish welcome to Harry"!
"He's made it clear that we are all just to call him Harry. So ladies and gentlemen, please give a big, warm, Scottish welcome to Harry." Certainly unusual, since he's usually referred to as "Sir" or "His Royal Highness". It seems like we should get used to Harry without his titles from now on.
Harry and Meghan did - in fact - agree to stop using the name "Sussex Royal" recently as part of stepping back as senior members of the royal family...
Harry arrived last night in Scotland after taking a commercial flight from Canada to London earlier this week. He will be at Abbey Road Studios on London on Friday to record a song for his Invictus Games with rock legend Jon Bon Jovi.
