Prince William And Duchess Kate Taking A Break From Royal Duties To Spend Time With Their Kids
Reportedly, Prince William and Duchess Kate are planning to take some time away from their royal duties to be with their kids! Find out what influenced their decision...
Prince William and Duchess Kate are putting family first! According to Us Weekly, the royal couple plans to step away from their duties so that they can spend more time with their kids. William and Kate's decision isn't as extreme as "Megxit" though, as their time away from royal obligations will be short-lived!
William and Kate "busier than ever", wanting more family time
Prince William and Duchess Kate will be stepping back from royal duties February 17th until February 21st, to be around during Prince George and Princess Charlotte's half-term break from school! They also took a short break around this time last year for the same reason. A royal inside source suggests that because the couple's schedules have been increasingly busy as of late, they wanted to take some time to focus on their family.
“The Cambridges are busier than ever since Harry and Meghan left the U.K.," the source says, referring to the infamous "Megxit". However, instead of causing strain on their relationship, the aftermath of "Megxit" has actually brought William and Kate closer together!
"Working as a team and supporting each other is essential at a time like this," the source goes on to say, "and that’s exactly what they’re doing".
