The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended the 'Shout's' Crisis Volunteer celebration event on Tuesday at the Troubadour White City Theatre in London. They looked amazing and had a wonderful time!

Duchess Catherine and Prince William attended the Shout Crisis Volunteer celebration event on Tuesday. The 24/7 text message support service was launched by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in May 2019. During yesterday's celebration, William and Kate got to meet some of the service's 1500 volunteers as well as learn about the impact of the helpline so far.

"Catherine and I, and Harry and Meghan couldn't be more proud of what Shout has accomplished. We're hugely proud and hugely grateful to all of you for being part of this." — The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge joined @GiveUsAShoutInsta's special #CrisisVolunteer celebration event, bringing together people from across the UK who volunteer around the clock with Shout to support people in crisis. As volunteers access their shifts from computers in their own homes, the event was an excellent opportunity for this virtual community to meet and see the scale of the national network they have joined. Shout is a 24/7 text support service which was researched and developed by The Royal Foundation as a legacy of the @Heads_Together Campaign, and launched by The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and The Duke and Duchess of Sussex @SussexRoyal in May 2019. The service has since seen volunteers exchange 6 million messages with people in crisis — thank you to all the incredible Shout volunteers! #Shout85258 Swipe to see more photos from today's celebrations. The impact of 'Shout' so far

According to Hello Magazine, "75% of people who contact Shout are under 25, and that the most frequent subjects raised in those conversations are suicide (37%), depression (36%), relationships (29%), anxiety (31%), isolation (19%) and self-harm (17%)." 'Shout' was researched and developed by The Royal Foundation as a legacy of the Heads Together Campaign. The Fab Four launched this project together with a 3 million pound investment.

The celebration event brought people from across the United Kingdom together who volunteer 24 hours, 7 days a week with 'Shout'. We are so happy that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge could attend such a wonderful event and we are incredibly grateful for the ongoing support for mental health and 'Shout' by William, Kate, Harry and Meghan.
