The documentary was actually filmed over the course of two whole years and also features Sir David Attenbourough as a narrator. In the first teaser trailer for Prince William: A Planet For Us All, we hear Prince William saying that he "always loved nature, but fatherhood has given me a new sense of purpose."

The Duke of Cambridge then continues on camera: "Now I’ve got George, Charlotte, and now Louis in my life. Your outlook does change. You want to hand over to the next generation the wildlife in a much better condition." Prince William is not only a passionate advocate for taking action when it comes to climate change, but also the patron of TuskTrust which tackles illegal wildlife trade and works on conservation efforts.

His father, Prince Charles, has also been a champion for environmental causes for decades and even appeared at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos in early 2020. To kick off Climate Week, Prince Charles actually recorded a video message in which he called for "immediate action" on climate change, calling it "a comprehensive catastrophe that will dwarf the impact of the coronavirus pandemic."
