Princess Beatrice will be stepping into the role of step-mother when she marries Edoardo this May. Here are the details of what part her future stepson will play during their big day! 

New details were revealed this week about Princess Beatrice's upcoming wedding to property tycoon Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. The couple is set to wed on May 29th, 2020 and it has been revealed that the bridal party will include a very special pageboy, Beatrice's future stepson

Edoardo Mapelli has a son named Christopher

Edoardo shares his son with his former girlfriend Dara Huang, who is an American architect and designer. Their son's name is Christopher and he was born in 2016. Edoardo and Dara broke up in 2018 and she now splits her time between London and Hong Kong as they have joint custody of Christopher.

After Beatrice and Edoardo announced their engagement, Dara made a statement saying, "I wish the best for Edo and Beatrice and look forward to uniting our families," according to People

A source further told People that  Christopher is "very much a part of their life. Beatrice has embraced the child as part of her life from the outset." The friend added, "Edo is easily one of the best dads, he is so involved, and Beatrice is already showing that she’s a fantastic step-mummy."

Beatrice, Edo and Christopher have been on family vacations together already and are reportedly very happy! Beatrice also wishes to have children of her own one day.
