Princess Madeleine has written first children's book
Princess Madeleine has written her first children's book titled Stella and the Secret. The book won't be available to buy for a few months yet, but the book's cover has been released.
The Swedish Royal Court has emphasised that Princess Madeleine's (36) new book, which will be published under the pseudonym Madeleine Bernadotte, has been written in support of the work carried out by the World Childhood Foundation. The book, titled Stella and the Secret, deals with children's rights and aims to give children the confidence to speak up when something is not right.
Princess Madeleine's Book and the World Childhood Foundation
Princess Madeleine's children's book will be released in June 2019 by Swedish publishing house Bonnier Carlsen in collaboration with the World Childhood Foundation. The charity, founded in 1999 by Queen Silvia of Sweden (75), will be celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.
It is interesting to note that Princess Madeleine will be publishing under a pseudonym, Madeleine Bernadotte. Bernadotte is the official surname of the Swedish Royal Family and is also used by Madeleine's hunky brother Prince Carl Philip (39) of Sweden as a work alias.
Madeleine, who has recently moved to Florida with her husband Chris O'Neill and their three children, Princess Leonore (4) and Prince Nicolas (3) and Princess Adrienne (10 months) will be visiting Sweden in June when the book is released.
Her move to the United States has allowed Madeleine to "continue working with the World Childhood Foundation and, through the move, be able to focus more on the activities in the United States", according to the Swedish Royal Court.
