Queen Elizabeth and her husband Prince Philip have been isolating together at Windsor Castle since March and new details have emerged about how the couple are spending their days. 

It seems as though the Queen and Prince Philip have been keeping rather busy during lockdown! The pair have been self-isolating at Windsor Castle for over two months now with just 22 members of staff. According to Hello, the Master of the Household, Tony Johnstone-Burt (former Royal Navy officer) has referred to the staff as the "HMS Bubble". This means the team has been separated from their families for the entirety of the lockdown thus far.

Queen Elizabeth Spending Time At The Stables 

The Daily Mail revealed that the Monarch is still enjoying her favourite past time, horse riding. She has reportedly been driving her own car most mornings to the stables located in Home Park. She even does this without staff, police, servants and family to avoid being exposed to the virus.

It was also reported that the royal couple have been using technology to keep in touch with family members during the COVID-19 crisis. The Queen even spoke to Prince Harry, Meghan Markle and little Archie on his 1st birthday!

Planning The Queen's Platinum Jubilee and Philip's 100th Birthday

In exciting future plans, Her Majesty the Queen has also started planning her platinum jubilee, which will take place in 2022. The couple have also been planning the Duke of Edinburgh's 100th birthday, which will fall on June 10, 2021. The Daily Mail wrote, "Although he's sure to resist pressure for public celebrations for his centenary, the palace – and his family – will want to make a fuss."
