Over the years, the British Royal Family has had its share of notable moments on the road. From presidential visits to weddings and crossovers with the world of luxury vehicles, the royals still get behind the wheel just like anyone else — Queen Elizabeth II included.

Despite living lives of royalty, the British royals regularly choose to drive themselves, sometimes even insisting on doing so for major events. This has extended to the Queen and Prince Philip as they've entered their 90s, but the Duke of Edinburgh gave up his license after a scary crash in 2019.

But the younger royals such as Prince Harry and Prince William are still photographed behind the wheel from time to time — and both took memorable trips on their wedding days. The Queen and Prince Philip were both seen driving as recently as 2019, too.
