This Is Why Princess Anne Is Considered The Hardest Working Member Of The Royal Family
Once again named as the hardest working royal, Princess Anne's commitment to her royal duty is still going strong! Find out about the upcoming events she plans to attend!
Princess Anne is considered to be the hardest working member of the royal family, and with good reason! As Hello! reports, last year Anne was officially crowned the most hardworking royal for a third year in a row. That's because after PA Media and the Court Circular— which is responsible for keeping record of the monarchy's engagements— tallied up how many royal events Anne had been in attendance for, they revealed the extent of her royal commitment. Princess Anne is said to have worked 165 days in the last year alone!
Princess Anne to continue with scheduled duties for now
Anne is still going ahead with the royal obligations she has planned to attend, despite many members of the royal family cancelling engagements as a precautionary measure due to the coronavirus. On Monday she was seen visiting the Addington Equestrian Centre near Buckingham, enacting her role as vice patron of the British Horse Society. While she was there, Anne is said to have met with the BHS equine coaches and education team. She also watched a demonstration that took place.
With several engagements scheduled through April, Anne shows no signs of slowing down unless the government advises against her following through! According to Hello!, she's expected to visit areas affected by the flood in Shrewsbury, Shropshire on March 30th, as well as travel to Bristol for the 25th anniversary of Triodos Bank UK.
April is a particularly busy month for the hardworking royal. April 7th sees her paying a visit to St. Michael's Church in East Sussex to commemorate its 900th anniversary, then attending a reception at St. James Palace before travelling back to East Sussex where she'll visit Newhaven Station. The latter is part of her duty as patron of the National Coastwatch Institution. Then on April 8th, she's scheduled to attend four royal engagements across London, Essex, and Sussex!
