Demi Moore delivered a sizzling performance in the film Striptease, but there were also several heartwarming moments when the actress appeared on-screen with her real-life daughter Rumer Willis. The dynamic duo had starred together before, in the film Now and Then. Recently they have both had recurring roles in the tremendously popular TV-Series Empire.
In Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Billie Lourd joined her mother on set as "Lieutenant Kaydel Ko Connix" while her mother played "General Leia Organa". Billie's mum was really proud of her and told her daughter she should pursue acting saying, "If you are comfortable here (on set), you should do this… you should act".
These two really are an acting match made in heaven! Susan Sarandon and Eva Amurri have appeared in both TV series and films together. The talented duo starred in The Banger Sisters, That's My Boy and Middle of Nowhere, as well as in the TV-Series Friends.
Even though Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have frequently stated that they don't like their children being on set, an exception had to be made for the film Maleficent. Angelina Jolie confided in an interview with "Entertainment Weekly" that all the young three and four-year-old actors and actresses woudn't go near her because they were "afraid of my horns and my eyes and my claws". She went to say that it had to be her daughter Viv who took on the role as she was the only one not too scared!
Vanessa Redgrave and Natasha Richardson were a force to be reckoned with on screen! They starred in the film Evening together and in a concert production of A Little Night Music.
Producers of the TV series The Closer were extremely vocal about their desire for Kyra Sedgwick's daughter Sosie Bacon to join the cast. Meryl Streep's daughter had acted alongside her when she was just a toddler, but was given a different name in the film's credits so as to avoid too much unwanted publicity. Years later, she got to act alongside her mother again, in the film Ricki and the Flash.
This mother and daughter duo are incredibly sweet together. Jada Pinkett Smith and Willow Smith didn't appear on-screen together, but their voices did. The two beautiful brunettes voiced the younger and older versions of Gloria, "The Hippo" in Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa.
Tippi Hendron is best known for her fabulous performance in the Hitchcock film The Birds. Her daughter Melanie Griffith needs no introduction. This highly talented mother and daughter team starred together in the 1981 adventure exploitation film Roar (which incidentally has the dubious title of being the most dangerous film ever made)...
Lena "was trying to do something, that the exploration was similar to things that I had done, so I needed to take it seriously."
And we have to say we're glad she did, they make a fabulous on-screen duo!
