7th Heaven is a TV show that ran from 1996 to 2007 and it was one of the most popular shows of the past 30 years. The show dealt with the trials and tribulations of the "Camden" family a Christian family of 9 living in Glenoak, California. Over 11 seasons, audiences were captivated by the life of the "Camden" family, and we'll show you what happened to "Matt", "Mary" and the others ever since the show ended in 2007...
Mackenzie Rosman played "Ruthie", the youngest "Camden" daughter for eleven years. She got her career start at the young age of four, when she was cast for TV commercials, and in 1996 got the part on 7th Heaven. Fun fact: She stood out by personally greeting each person in the room with a handshake during her audition.
"Ruthie" is now a young woman and is still working as an actress. She was featured in The Secret Life of an American Teenager for a couple of episodes in 2010 and 2011, and was last seen in the short film Ankh.
Catherine Hicks played "Annie Camden", the busy mother of seven for all eleven seasons of 7th Heaven, from 1996 to 2011. Before she was cast as the pastor's wife, Catherine was already a popular actress and even won an Emmy Award in 1980 for her performance as Marilyn Monroe in Marilyn Monroe: The Untold Story.
After the end of the show, Catherine starred in several Lifetime movies and appeared on other TV shows. She also spent some time doing theatre in Los Angeles. In 2015, she shared her experiences and challenges of being a female actor for the Showtime documentary That Gal...Who Was in That Thing.
Barry Watson played "Matt Camden", the eldest son of the "Camden" family for a total of ten seasons. He was on hiatus for most of the seventh season, because of his battle against cancer, which was successful. He did not appear in the eleventh season of 7th Heaven.
After he left the show, Barry got the lead in What about Brian, which only ran for one season on ABC. During the last years, he appeared regularly on several other TV shows like Gossip Girl, Hart of Dixie and Masters of Sex. Ever since June 2017, he stars as "Ricky Cooper" in the UPtv show Date my Dad.
She needs no introduction: Jessica Biel was "Mary", the eldest daughter of the "Camden" clan for six seasons, When she was 17 years old she posed for a risque photo shoot, which outraged the producers of 7th Heaven. She later expressed regret for doing it, claiming she had been used by "Gear" magazine.
Jessica had a tremendous career on the big screen after she left 7th Heaven and has become one of Hollywood's biggest stars. Her most notable appearances include features like The Illusionist, Valentine's Day and Hitchcock. Since 2012, she is happily married to singer-songwriter, producer and actor Justin Timberlake and they have a son together (*2015).
Beverley Mitchell played Jessica Biels younger sister "Lucy Camden" for a total of 242 episodes. Before being cast, she'd already appeared in the feature film The Crow: City of Angels.
After the series-finale of 7th Heaven, actress Beverley Mitchell is still acting for TV productions to this day. In 2016 Mitchell starred in the TV movie Deadly Dance Mom. In 2007 Mitchell published her very first music album, called "Beverley Mitchell". Mitchell is married and has two children - a daughter and a son.
David Gallagher played "Simon Camden", the fourth child and second son of the family, for ten seasons. His career had begun at the age of two(!), when he started acting in TV commercials. He then had his first big role in the 1996 movie Look Who's Talking Now, playing the son of John Travolta and Kirstie Alley. Later that year, he was cast for 7th Heaven.
David's first role after leaving 7th Heaven was a recurring character on Numb3rs. In recent years, he has appeared on shows like Smallville, Bones and both CSI: Miami and CSI: New York. He also had a role in the movie Super 8, which was directed by J.J. Abrams and produced by Steven Spielberg.
Stephen Collins played the role of "Eric Camden", the righteous pastor and father of seven for 11 years. Before he joined the successful CBS show, he appeared on different TV shows, such as Sisters, and had some smaller roles in feature films.
7th Heaven ended after eleven seasons and afterwards Collins appeared on shows like Private Practice, Devious Maids and Falling Skies until he was cast as "Doctor Gene Porter" for the NBC show Revolution, which ran for 2 seasons until 2014.
The third season saw the arrival of the twins "Sam" and "David Camden" and these little ones really shook up the household! Their roles turned Lorenzo and Nikolas Brino into child stars. After the end of the show, they did not spend much more time in the limelight...
Another actor who joined the show at a later point: George Stults. He played "Lucy's" boyfriend and later husband "Kevin Kinkirk". Turn to the next picture to see what he did after the show...
After the end of 7th Heaven, George sporadically appeared in productions such as Hydra, American Bandits and most recently Zoo in 2016. Do you guys still remember the guy on his left?
Geoff Stults is not only related to George Stults in real life. In 7th Heaven, he played "Ben Kinkirk", who, obviously, is "Kevin's" brother and makes Jessica Biel's character fall in love with him.
The end of the show did not mean the end of Geoff Stults' career. He has since appeared in Hollywood productions like Wedding Crashers, The Break Up and She's Out Of My League. In 2017, he starred in the movie Unforgettable.
