There was a lot of drama with the pair during their season when Tania left to go on a trip to Costa Rica for a big chunk of their short 90 day's together. She also took a lot of heat from fans when she told Syngin she did not think he was her soulmate and instead her ex-boyfriend was her soulmate. Many of the other couples even confronted Tania on her statement at the Tell-All, Michael and Robert both questioned why she married Syngin if she believed her ex was the one for her.

Now that they are married we get to watch the pair work through their issues as newlyweds, including Tania's want to have children, Syngin's lack of work, and Syngin's deep homesickness for South Africa. The couple even joined his family in South Africa prompting Syngin to say he doesn't want to leave!

Entertainment Tonight's incredible Lauren Zima interviewed the two after the sneak peek of the season was released and asked them all the questions fans were dying to hear. She asked him about his want to move back home to be with his family and he said he plans on staying for now "I think there's a good future in America right now for me and good things going on here and everything. You know, obviously, it's all because of this girl sitting next to [me]. But if that doesn't work out, I think I will be on the first plane out of here. I don't think I would be staying around in America."

Ultimately, he is driven by his heart and intends on building a life with his love and wife Tania, although he does hope to live in South Africa again one day which Tania is open to. She even suggested if they have children, they could split their time in South Africa and the US each year.

When asked about the "Soulmate" debacle Syngin said "It was very tough to hear that. It's still something that we're looking into a little bit more right now. There's still a little bit more of an open door when it comes to that conversation," and Tania explained she may be unsure about the definition of "soulmate" and she does see herself with Syngin "forever."
