Catherine Bell Will Also Appear on 'NCIS: L.A.': Could This Mean A 'JAG' Reboot?
Catherine Bell is going to be joining her co-star David James Elliott for a JAG reunion on NCIS: Los Angeles this season. Thus far, it has been confirmed that they will only be joining the NCIS: Los Angeles cast for four episodes (two episodes for Bell), however with all the revivals and reboots happening lately, we can cross our fingers that this could also result in one!
Catherine Bell and David James Elliott are reprising their characters from JAG to do a joint arc on NCIS: Los Angeles. Bell will appear in the current season finale airing on May 19th as "Lieutenant Colonel Sarah "Mac" MacKenzie" and Elliott will have a multi-episode appearance beginning on the May 12th episode as "Navy Captain Harmon Rabb Jr."
"Mac" Is Needed by "Hetty"
A total of four episodes are said to have former JAG stars present and we absolutely can't wait! "Mac" is being brought back because in the episode, "as the NCIS team tries to uncover a complicated network of ISIS sympathizers who look to be planning an attack on US aircraft carriers, Hetty has to call in a favour with an old friend, Lieutenant Colonel Sarah "Mac" MacKenzie to help get access to an elusive Russian diplomat," according to Deadline.
Catherine Bell Stars in The Good Witch
Since her time on JAG, Catherine Bell starred in the successful franchise The Good Witch which she continues to do. The franchise is a mix of TV movies and a series and keeps Bell rather busy. We can still hope that with everything coming full circle from JAG to NCIS: Los Angeles, that the possibility of a reboot is on the horizon. Stay tuned...
