A "reimagining" of the horror film Saw

Spiral is due out on May 15. Few details were known about the film prior to today's trailer, but it was expected to reimagine the original Saw film from 2004.

The trailer sees Rock and Jackson's characters caught up in an investigation of disturbing murders. As they dig deeper, it seems that the officers become targets for the killer and his deranged plans.

An image in the trailer even sees Chris Rock's character bound and holding the series' trademark hacksaw. This one may not be for the faint of heart!
