'Criminal Minds': Adam Rodriguez Already Has A New Job
It is a few months before the final season of Criminal Minds is going to air. And as the show is coming to an end after the 15th season, some of the cast has already found new jobs. Like Adam Rodriguez, who will soon be featured in the sequel to Penny Dreadful.
While the Criminal Minds fans wait patiently for the premiere of the 15th and final season of the series, Adam Rodriguez (44) ("Special Agent Luke Alvez") has already started working on his next project. He will take on a recurring role in a sequel to the horror series Penny Dreadful, as Variety reports.
Adam Rodriguez will star in Penny Dreadful: City of Angels
Penny Dreadful: City of Angels is the name of the new series set in Los Angeles in the 1930's. Adam Rodriguez, who also used to star on CSI alongside David Caruso, plays the son of the main character, "Tiago Vega" - who was the first Mexican-American investigator in the history of the Los Angeles Police Department. Other cast members include Natalie Dormer, Kerry Bishé, Adriana Barraza and Rory Kinnear.
Perhaps it's only a small consolation for the fans of Criminal Minds that they can follow many of their beloved actors in new roles on TV even after the end of the series. Shemar Moore (49), who left Criminal Minds in 2017, also remained true to the crime genre and now stars on S.W.A.T..
