'Criminal Minds': Cast Members Turned Directors
It seems to be the norm for some of the cast of Criminal Minds to step out of their character for an episode or two and try their hand at directing. A.J. Cook is the most recent to do so...
The 312th episode of Criminal Minds marks a first for original cast member A.J. Cook as she steps behind the camera as director for the first time. It sounds like the episode she had the pleasure of directing, is a wild one for audiences and fans alike.
5 Criminal Minds Cast Members Have Also Directed
A.J. Cook joins an alumni of Criminal Minds cast that have stepped behind the camera to direct. Among some of the others are Matthew Gray Gubler, Joe Mantegna, Aisha Tyler and Adam Rodriguez, which makes a total of five original cast members getting to try their hand at directing. According to TVLine, Cook says, "I think that's so great, that they open the door for us, and this is something that's not going to stop here. This is the next chapter for me, and I loved every second of it - the good, the bad, and the ugly!"
Criminal Minds Family
Cook was thrilled to get the script for the episode and said it couldn't have been better. We are so excited for these cast members that they get to try new things like directing on the set of Criminal Minds. They really are like a family and we are going to miss them after season 15.
