"CSI": Where is the main cast now?
CSI was the first spin-off of the US crime series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. It was produced from 2002 to 2012 by CBS and ran for a total of ten seasons.
David Caruso played "Lieutenant Horatio Caine" for a total of 232 episodes. The head of the "CSI" team in Miami has a photographic memory and is known for his dry sense of humor.
David Caruso has quit acting and now owns two production companies and is the co-owner of the furniture and clothing business "Steam on Sunset" in Miami. He was married three times and has three children.
Ballistics and weapons expert "Calleigh Duquesne" (Emily Procter) also belongs to the "CSI: Miami" team and solves many exciting crimes alongside "Horatio Caine" (David Caruso).
Since CSI: Miami ended after its ten-year run, Emily Procter appeared on two episodes of the detective series White Collar. In 2016, she was featured in the TV movie Love Everlasting. Procter is also a real sporting ace and has participated at various marathons and even triathlons.
The third member of the investigative team on CSI: Miami is the detective and diving expert "Eric Delco" (Adam Rodriguez). He is really great at his job and could plunge the waterways of Florida in his sleep.
During his time in CSI: Miami, Adam Rodriguez also appeared on the fourth season of Ugly Betty. In Magic Mike XXL, he reprised his role of "Tito" alongside Channing Tatum. Since 2016, he's part of the main cast of Criminal Minds.
"People lie, the evidence doesn't". This motto also applies to the "CSI" team in New York City, the second spin-off in the "CSI" franchise. In the Big Apple, the team of "Detective Mac Taylor" (Gary Sinise) and "Detective Stella Bonasera" (Melina Kanakaredes) investigate and put the bad guys away. The show ran from 2004 until 2013.
Gary Sinise was successful before he took on the role of "Mac Taylor" in CSI:NY and had already starred in the Oscar winning film Forrest Gump and The Green Mile. While his last role on the big screen was in the 2006 film The Big Bounce, his TV career is still thriving. Since 2016, he stars in Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders.
Melina Kanakaredes left CSI: NY after six seasons and since has appeared in the film Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thieves as well as in the drama Snitch alongside Dwayne Johnson.
