George R.R. Martin is the author of the book series "A Song of Ice and Fire" which is the book series that the famous Game of Thrones is based of off. He has now spoken out about the backlash that the ending of Game of Thrones received over the internet. 

The author of the series "A Song of Ice and Fire" has talked about how "toxic" fans are now when it comes to criticizing works of art. He mentioned the petition that over 1.5 million fans signed for HBO to re-do the ending of the series finale of Game of Thrones noting that there is "madness" on the internet when it comes to fans reactions.
