Although Game of Thrones ended in May after eight seasons, there still seems to be some unseen footage left from the final episodes. Watch a deleted scene from the third episode ("The Long Night") with "Sansa" and "Tyrion" right here!

Yes, we know that Game of Thrones came to a much-discussed end with the series finale in May, but HBO still knows how to get the attention of GoT fans. They released a never-before-seen deleted scene from the third episode of season eight ("The Long Night") just in time for the release of season 8 on DVD and Blu-ray.

Game of Thrones Season 8: Watch the deleted scene

The deleted scene from Game of Thrones season 8 episode 3 shows "Tyrion" (Peter Dinklage) and "Sansa" (Sophie Turner) in the crypts of Winterfell as they save the lives of "Missandei" (Nathalie Emannuel) and "Gilly" (Hannah Murray") who are under attack from undead wights.

Interestingly, this is rough and unfinished footage, the director's voice can be heard at one point and not all special effects are in place - but it is still a powerful scene that fans sure would have loved to have had in "The Long Night".
