Here's What We Know About Apple TV's New British Comedy 'Trying'

Trying will be Apple TV's first British series! Look for it to debut on Apple TV+ this May. Find out more about the comedy below!

Trying is a relationship comedy from producer BBC Studios that Apple TV+ will distribute. So far, we know that it will star English actors Rafe Spall and Esther Smith as a couple who desperately want to have a baby. Viewers may recognize Spall from Shaun of the DeadThe Big Short, and Men In Black: International. Esther Smith, meanwhile, is known for her work on the British sitcoms Uncle and Cuckoo.

Trying: A few more details

Trying premieres exclusively on Apple TV+ on Friday, May 1. Eight half-hour episodes of the show will be added to the streaming service. Also watch for BAFTA award-winning actress Imelda Staunton! She's slated to appear in the show.
