'Hocus Pocus' Sequel In The Works For Disney+

Hocus Pocus is a classic Halloween film that is watched every year still today during the spooky season. Disney has just announced that they are conjuring up a sequel to the original starring Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy. As of right now, the three original stars are not yet officially involved with the sequel although "Disney is hopeful that they may become involved," according to Entertainment Tonight Canada

Hocus Pocus 2 Coming Soon

The Workaholics writer and co-producer Jen D'Angelo is going to be writing the script and as of right now, no director is in place. The original film saw the three witches placed under a curse in 1693 until they were accidentally resurrected 300 years later by a young boy who moved to the witches' hometown of Salem, Massachusetts.

The movie was originally considered a box office flop when it was released in 1993. They had a budget of $28 million and only managed to earn $39 million worldwide upon its release. Despite the disappointment at the box office, the film has remained a cult classic over the years and we can't wait to see what they come up with for the sequel!
