James Cameron Responds to 'Avengers: Endgame' Taking Box Office Record

After a 10-year reign as box-office champion, Avatar has been dethroned by Avengers: Endgame. The Marvel film is now the highest-grossing movie of all time and James Cameron couldn't help but feel happy about it. Click on our video above to get all the information!

Canadian filmmaker James Cameron congratulated Marvel Studios after the 2019 film Avengers: Endgame surpassed the 2009 film Avatar to become the highest-grossing movie of all time, with an outstanding record of $2.79 billion worldwide, compared to Avatar's $2.789 billion.

Fans all over the world were very happy to see Cameron's most recent tweet where he shared an image of "Iron Man" with woodsprites that are found on Avatar's fictional planet. So far, more than 35,000 fans have retweeted it. 

Avatar 2 will be released in 2021
