Keanu Reeves is ready to be "Neo" again. During an interview with the program, BBC’s The One Show, the Canadian actor spoke about The Matrix 4, which is currently filming in Berlin. The star of the John Wick films did not hesitate to point out that the film is a "love story" which he described as "inspiring".

Apparently, one of the most important films in the history of science fiction will return to theaters as a love story. At least that's what Keanu Reeves teased when he took the time to talk to BBC’s The One Show about the expected fourth installment of The Matrix. During the interview, the Canadian actor pointed out that the film he is currently filming in Berlin is a "love story" which he described as "inspiring". In a conversation with host Alex Jones of BBC’s The One Show, about the premiere of his new movie Bill & Ted Face the Music, Keanu Reeves spoke about some details regarding the fourth film in the Matrix saga, provisionally known as The Matrix 4.

The John Wick star feels grateful to be able to work on another film in the Matrix franchise: "We’re out here trying to make some magic," he revealed. 

When asked about the difficulties of making another Matrix movie Reeves said, "We have a wonderful director, Lana Wachowski, and she has written a beautiful script that is a love story, it’s inspiring."

"It’s another version, a call to wake up and it has some great action. All will be revealed," added the Canadian.

Matrix 4 was filmed in the middle of a pandemic

Keanu Reeves also referred to the complicated task of filming one of the most anticipated films of the next few years under the most extreme secrecy and in a condition as adverse as a pandemic.

It is expected that The Matrix 4 will hit movie screens in 2022.
