Would you have guessed that Sir Elton is a fan of Killing Eve?

Well, the popular BBC America series first expressed its love for the "Crocodile Rock" singer in its latest episode this past Monday.

In the episode, the fifth of Killing Eve's third season, it's revealed that Jodie Comer's "Villanelle" has a family member who's an Elton John superfan.

The episode is titled "Are You from Pinner?," in reference to Elton's hometown of Pinner, England. References to the musician's songs are included throughout the episode, along with "Villanelle" donning Sir Elton's signature look.

And, as it turns out, Elton seems to be more than a little familiar with the show! He responded on Tuesday with an Instagram post that expressed his excitement about the tribute and his apparent fandom of the show.

"#KillingEve is such a groundbreaking series and I was thrilled to be included in this week's episode. I think the glasses suit you @jodiecomer!," his post read. It's accompanied by the image of Killing Eve star Jodie Comer in an Elton John-inspired outfit.

Killing Eve is currently airing its third season on BBC America and BBC iPlayer. The spy and assassin thriller also stars Sandra Oh and Fiona Shaw.
