'NCIS: L.A.' - "Lara Macy": Everything You Need To Know About The Former Leader
Before "Hetty," NCIS: L.A. had a different team leader. It was "Lara Macy", who left the team early. But who is the former director? Let's find out everything you need to know about "Lara" here...
At NCIS: L.A., "Hetty" (Linda Hunt) is the head of the office and the boss of "Callen" (Chris O'Donnell), "Sam Hanna" (LL Cool J), "Kensi" (Daniela Ruah) and "Deeks" (Eric Olsen). But before "Hetty" took over the team leadership, her predecessor "Lara Macy" (Louise Lombard) was responsible for the NCIS L.A. team.
After a short time, she was transferred and worked on a rape case in Marseille before she returned to America. But who is "Lara Macy" anyway? We will tell you what you need to know about the former team leader.
NCIS: L.A.: "Lara Macy" at NCIS
"Lara Macy" was played by actress Louise Lombard. In fact, she didn't appear first on NCIS: L.A. but was featured on NCIS in the episode "A Good Patriot" as "Hetty's" predecessor.
She was a former USMC lieutenant who worked as a military policewoman who had long ago played an important role in "Leroy Jethro Gibbs'" (Mark Harmon) life. She covered up his involvement in the murder of the Mexican drug lord "Pedro Hernandez", who was responsible for the death of "Gibbs" wife and daughter.
NCIS: L.A. had the occasional mention of "Macy" but never showed it. Seriously burned remains were discovered in season seven of NCIS. "Timothy McGee" (Sean Murray) confirmed that it was the remains of "Macy".
It was later revealed that she was brutally murdered and her body was set on fire. Her killer has been identified as "Jason Paul Dean", a mercenary and former ranger in the US Army. He wanted to get to "Gibbs" through what he did.
NCIS: L.A.: This is "Lara Macy" actress Louise Lombard
Louise Lombard didn't have a big role in NCIS and NCIS: L.A., however, Lombard has been in front of the camera in both British and American productions since the late 1980s.
She has appeared in a number of television films such as Kiss of Death, Dripping in Chocolate, and Dangerous Lessons. She was also featured in several episodes in well-known television series such as The House of Eliott and Bodyguards.
She also appeared in 52 episodes of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation as "Sofia Curtis". Her big breakthrough did not materialize, however, and Louise Lombard only has minor roles today. In her private life, she is the mother of two children, a son and a daughter.
