'NCIS': Sean Murray Finally Addresses Rumors Of "McGee" Exiting The Show
Sean Murray has been starring on NCIS as "Timothy McGee" for over fifteen years and is loved by thousands of fans. Lately, however, rumors have spread that the actor will soon leave the series. Now, it has eventually become clear if NCIS fans should really NOT be worried.
Attention, spoilers! NCIS fans can finally breathe a sigh of relief: "Timothy McGee", played by Sean Murray, will probably faithful to the popular series NCIS.
It became quite clear during in the 21st episode of the 16th season called "Judge, Jury". As we know now, "McGee" will not be leaving the unit, since the the tech company 'Splendifida' rescinded his job offer.
NCIS: This is why "Timothy McGee" will stay
Even if "McGee" was thinking about it, the job is no longer an option after the episode, was was reported by "TV Insider".
In the episode, "McGee" takes a break to get to know the 'Splendifida' campus. But the truth is that he's spying there and reveals that he belongs go "Gibbs'" team and doesn't intend to leave.
Also, actor Sean Murray himself commented on his potential exit and said in an older interview with CinemaBlend, "I think he's real happy with the people that he's with, so I don't think McGee's going anywhere."
"I'm under contract right now, so I have no plans to leave the show," the actor also said in an interview with Country Living.
NCIS: will "Ziva" really make a comeback?
Could "Ziva" (Coté de Pablo, 39) actually return to NCIS? This rumor has kept die-hard fans on their toes for weeks now. After all, the secret agent was part of the show for 8 years. In 2013, "Ziva's" dramatic exit from the show marked the end of an era. But was it perhaps not so final after all?
In the 13th episode of the 16th season (aptly called "She"), we got to see a glimpse of "Ziva". Since then, NCIS fans have been sure that "Ziva" is still alive. She lives in Washington DC and is still working an old case. The latest statements by NCIS co-showrunner Steven Binder (47) will also fuel the rumors: "It’s such a great thread, I’d hate to leave it on the table," he explained in an interview.
He also makes it clear that Coté de Pablo might not come back physically, but as somewhat of a 'ghost', as she did in the episode "She": "I don't want to say ‘the sky’s the limit,’ but given that she’s been gone for years, there’s a lot that could have happened that could be fodder for us," Binder said, "even if she’s not necessarily present."
