'NCIS' Season 17: Will "Ziva" Eventually Be Reunited With Daughter "Tali"?
After months of speculation we finally got to learn that "Ziva" is coming back to NCIS. But now we are wondering if she will be reunited with her former partner "Tony DiNozzo" and/or with her daughter "Tali."
A couple of months ago it was officially announced that "Ziva" (Cote de Pablo) was coming back for the upcoming season of NCIS, but it is still unclear if she will be reunited with her daughter "Tali" (Emelia and Layla Golfieri) and/or with her former partner "Tony" (Michael Weatherly.) Some details about NCIS season 17 are still a mystery, but the 39-year-old actress recently gave some hints about it during an interview with TV Insider, where her co-star Mark Harmon ("Gibbs") also participated. "I don't think 'Ziva' and 'Tony' have seen each other or communicated in a long time. 'Tali' was delivered to him [by Mossad], and that was the end of it." said the actress.
Although it is not clear if "Tali" will appear on the show again, some fans think that she will probably not appear without his father "Tony," who didn't know about her for a really long time. After being asked if Michael Weatherly would appear in the new episodes, Mark Harmon said: "Maybe. Michael is a little busy at the moment," while Cote de Pablo added that he is currently filming Bull.
Cote de Pablo and Mark Harmon are very good friends
Fans are also wondering if "Ziva" or "Gibbs" will die in season 17, since both of them are exposed to an anonymous threat. But one thing the audience already knows is that Cote de Pablo and Mark Harmon are not only co-stars but also really close friends who seem to know each other very well: "It's like time never passed. We get right into the groove. It's very easy to look at Mark and understand emotionally where you're going in a scene," Cote de Pablo said in regards of her return to the series and the way she works with Mark Harmon.
NCIS season 17 premieres this Tuesday September 24th, so we will start to get the answers to all of our questions very soon!
