What we know so far about Shrunk

Shrunk will see Moranis reprise his role, "Wayne Szalinski," from the earlier films in the comedy series. In Honey, I Shrunk The Kids, "Wayne" shrinks his own children and a few neighbourhood kids too.

The first film was followed by Honey, I Blew Up The Kids, in which "Wayne" enlarges his newborn baby. Honey, We Shrunk Ourselves was the last of the original films, and Moranis's last live-action film appearance, back in 1997.

Josh Gad will play "Wayne's" son, an aspiring scientist like his father, in Shrunk. Original director Joe Johnston will also return to direct the film. It will begin shooting this year.
