Sandra Bullock will be starring in another Netflix film and it's not Bird Box 2... yet! Her new movie titled Unforgiven is from the Mission: Impossible writer and is an adaptation of a British miniseries. Here's everything we know so far...

Oscar award-winning actress Sandra Bullock will be starring in the Netflix film adaptation of Unforgiven, which is a British limited series that was first broadcast in 2009. Christopher McQuarrie who is credited with writing and directing Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation and its sequel Fallout, will be writing the adaptation and German filmmaker Nora Fingscheidt will be directing.

Unforgiven is about a woman who is imprisoned for a violent crime and attempts to rebuild her life upon being released from prison into a society that refuses to forgive her. The original limited series featured actress Suranne Jones as main character "Ruth Slater," who Sandra Bullock will now take over. In the movie adaptation, "Ruth" seeks out her estranged sister whom she was forced to leave behind before going to prison.

McQuarrie is "honoured" to have Bullock star in the film

Christopher McQuarrie tweeted, "this one is near and dear to my heart. I'm honoured to know it's in such good hands," with a picture of Sandra Bullock. We can't wait for this new film to stream, meanwhile, Bullock has been working on a new series for Amazon that is loosely based on her college years back in the 1980s.
