Scream is an american horror movie that came out in 1996. In the first installment of the horror movie series, "Casey Becker" (Drew Barrymore) is murdered by a man in a ghost mask after playing a 'game' over the telephone. This wouldn't be the ghost-faced murderer's last victim on his quest for blood. The Scream saga quickly gained a massive following and subsequently thee sequels were made over the years.
Neve Campbell plays the leading role of "Sidney Prescott". Her mother was found raped and murdered exactly one year before the murder of "Casey". At the time, "Cotton Weary" was blamed for the murder and therefore was sentenced to prison. After years of peace, the ghost-faced murderer has risen from the ashes and is now targeting "Sidney" as his next victim, but during their first encounter she manages to escape the masked-killer's wrath. Due to the killings and the mass panic they were causing, the entire town is put on lockdown, but even this didn't seem to stop the young teens from throwing a party. During the party, the assassin strikes again, but this time "Sidney" and her friend "Gale" are able to stop him...
Neve Campbell is now 45 years old and was married to actor John Light from 2007 until 2010. The actress made her big break with the movie "Scream" and has appeared in numerous blockbusters over the years such as Wild Things or Three to Tango. Neve Campbell was also in TV shows as well, including Grey's Anatomy and Mad Men. Campbell's interests were not only in acting, but also in writing. She worked as a TV writer for quite some time and even produced the drama The Company back in 2003. After the success of Scream, she moved on to play different roles in all four installments of the saga. She most recently appeared on the fifth season of House of Cards.
She played the role of "Gale Weathers', a gossip reporter, who wrote a successful book about the death of" Sidney's "mother. She suspects that all former murder suspects were innocent and is set out to find the real killer. With the help of "Sidney", they both are able to find the him and end him.
Alongside her role in Scream, Courteney Cox (54) also became famous for her role as "Monica Geller" in the hit sitcom Friends. The series was on air for the better part of 10 years and gets more popular from year to year. She has a number of minor roles in shows like Scrubs or Private Practice. She even produced the show Cougar Town and played the leading role of "Julie Cobb". In addition to all of her work, she managed to be in all four installments of Scream. While filming for the slasher flick, she met her future husband David Arquette whom she was married to from 1999 until 2013. She announced her new marriage to musician Johnny McDaid in 2014.
"Deputy Dewey Riley" is the police officer in the movie Scream who constantly tries to protect his sister "Tatum" and her friend "Sidney" throughout the film. He later gets into a relationship with "Gale". Ironically enough, he himself is attacked by the ghost-faced killer. Though severely wounded, he, in the end survives.
David Arquette (47) had his breakthrough with the film Scream. Then he starred in many other films including Never Been Kissed or Riding the Bullet and even worked as a director for the film President Evil. To promote his film Ready to Rumble, he participated in several times in wrestling matches. Hilariously enough, although he had no experience with wrestling, he became WCW World Heavyweight Champion in April 2000. He held the title for a grand total of 12 days. He has a daughter with his former co-star,and ex-wife, Courteney Cox.
"Billy Loomis" is "Sidney's" boyfriend throughout the film. After they received the killer's call, "Billy" was arrested because he was supposedly in possession of the phone presumably used to call his victims. However, he was released due to the lack of evidence supporting the police's claim. At the party, he sleeps with "Sidney" and is then allegedly stabbed by "Ghostface". As "Sidney" comes back into the House, the wounded "Billy" comes stumbling down the staircase. Ultimately, "Sidney" discovers that 'Billy' was really one of the killers all along. They wanted to pin the evidence on "Sidney's" father, who allegedly went crazy on the day of his wife's death . "Billy" is also responsible for the murder of "Sidney's" mother due to the affair "Billy's" father was having with "Sidney's" mother which led to the divorce of "Billy's" parents.
Skeet Ulrich (48) was a nude model before getting his big breakthrough in the horror film Scream. After that he played roles in films like The Warrior and As Good As It Gets. Ulrich also starred in a variety of TV shows such as Law & Order and Into the West.Besides his acting career, from 1997 to 2005 he was married to actress Georgina Cates, with whom he had twins in 2001.
"Stu Macher" is "Billy's" best friend in the movie Scream. He's "Tatum Riley's" boyfriend and, ironically enough, is big fan of horror movies. "Stu" was discovered to be "Billy's" accomplice who helped him with all the murders, even with the murder of "Sidney's" mother. He dies at the end of the movie.
Matthew Lilard (48) became an overnight sensation after starring in movies like Serial Mom and Hackers , acting alongside Johnny Lee Miller and Angelina Jolie. After Scream he appeared in a number of different movies such as in the Scooby-Doo saga and in Thirteen Ghosts. Lillard guest-starred in a number of TV shows (The Good Wife, The Bridge America) as well. He has been married to his wife, Heather Helm, since 2000 and they have three kids altogether.
"Tatum Riley" is "Sidney's" best friend. At the party, "Stu","Riley's" boyfriend, sends her to the garage to get a beer, not knowing that the killer is already expecting her. At first, "Tatum" thinks that one of the teenagers disguised himself as "Ghostface" to try and prank her until the masked killer pulls a knife and attempts to murder her. She tries to escape through the cat flap in the door, but gets stuck. The killer then opens the garage door and "Tatum" is eventually crushed.
"Randy Meeks" is also a huge horror movie fan and works at the local Video store. He has always been secretly in love with "Sidney" and belonged to the same group of friends. During his attempt to help "Gale" and "Dewey" find the killer, he himself is attacked and wounded by the killer, but luckily survives...
Jamie Kennedy (48) got his first role in Dead Poets Society back in 1989. He became an international success with his role in Scream. Afterwards he had tons of roles in movies and TV shows such as The Cleveland Show, The Mask, Dr. Doolittle 2 and many more. The multi-talented actor even wrote a book called "Wannabe: A Hollywood Experiment" where he talks about his first unsuccessful years in Hollywood.
"Casey Becker" is getting ready for an evening with her boyfriend, when suddenly a man calls her asking her if she wants to play a game involving horror movie trivia. After she loses the game, "Ghostface" appears and, after a long chase, eventually kills her leaving her boyfriend tied up watching.
Drew Barrymore (43) started her career as a child, when she landed a starring role in"E.T.". After countless other roles she finally got her breakthrough in The Wedding Singer. Her salary grew expendentialy after finishing the movie. She also starred in popular films like Charlie's Angels, 50 First Dates and Blended. She also directed a number of the movies she has starred in.
Drew Barrymore was married three times before, but has seemed to have settled down. Until 2016, she was married to the art dealer Will Kopelman with whom she has two daughters.
"Kenneth Jones" is "Gale's" filmer throughout the movie. He dies after "Ghostface" slits his throat.
W. Earl Brown has had roles in the movies such as There's Something about Mary and The Sessions. He occasionally stars in television shows such as CSI or Justified. He played the role of "Dane Dority" in the series Deadwood from 2004 until 2006. The actor is married to his childhood sweetheart Carrie, with whom he has a daughter.
"Cotton Weary" was blamed for the death of "Sidney's" mother and was sent to prison. He is released one year later from jail after authorities found out that "Billy" and "Stu" were behind the killings.

He had his first big success with Scream and has since then starred in productions like Everything Is Illuminated, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Salt and many, many more. From 2005 until 2016, Schreiber was in a relationship with actress Naomi Watts, they have two kids together.
