It seems like "Kirk" and "Spock" are coming back! A new Star Trek film is officially in the works, which would be the fourth installment in the J.J. Abrams franchise reboot.
According to Deadline, Noah Hawley will be writing and directing the upcoming film for Paramount Pictures. He is best known for his work on television shows such as Fargo, Bones, and Legion, as well as on films like Lucy in the Sky.

The fabulous Quentin Tarantino previously expressed his interest in writing and directing a Star Trek film on his own, which according to him would be a "Pulp Fiction in space version."
