'Star Trek: Picard' Is Here! This Is Everything You Need To Know
Wow! It's been 17 years since we've last seen the legendary Patrick Stewart in his role of a lifetime as "Jean-Luc Picard". Now, CBS All Access and Amazon Prime Video are bringing back the legendary character from the Star Trek universe.
"Jean-Luc Picard" is back! Sir Patrick Stewart returns to the small screen with the new show show Star Trek: Picard. The very first trailer from Spring 2019 already teased a plotline for the show that read as follows:
"Fifteen years ago today, you led us out of the darkness. You commanded the greatest rescue armada in history. Then, the unimaginable. What did that cost you? Your faith? Your faith in us? Your faith in yourself? Tell us, why did you leave Starfleet, Admiral?"
Unfortunatley, we don't know exactly what incident the plotline is referring to. We DO know we last saw "Picard" in his legendary role as the Starfleet Captain in the 2002 film Star Trek: Nemesis. Apparently, the new show takes place roughly 20 years after the events of Nemesis.
