The next Bachelorette, Clare Crawley, is encouraging new men to apply for her season of The Bachelorette despite all the contestants already being announced and after filming has been shut down due to COVID-19.

Clare Crawley's season of The Bachelorette was supposed to begin last Friday, however due to health concerns amid the COVID-19 pandemic, production was halted. This meant that Crawley, along with all of her suitors were returned their phones and sent home for a couple of weeks... for now.

Clare Crawley: "I don't think it's too late to submit people"

Clare has now spoken out in a statement to ET about the thought of new potential men to submit their applications to join her on her journey to find love. "I'm not saying this personally -- but I feel like since we have a break in the show right now, I don't think it's too late to submit people. So, submit them, why not? What's the worst that could happen?"

The 38-year-old first appeared on The Bachelor franchise on Juan Pablo's season. She then went on to appear in two seasons of Bachelor in Paradise and Bachelor Winter Games. She has been open about the possibility of dating someone younger. When asked that question, she responded, "Yes. Yes, yes, yes. Not too much younger... but younger."
