'The Crown' Season 3: First Official Trailer Shows Olivia Colman In Changing Times
Good news for all fans of The Crown. Netflix has released the first official trailer for the third season of the hit, that featured Claire Foy as Queen Elizabeth II in seasons one and two. Now, Olivia Colman takes over as the regent and has to guide the royal family through the 1960s and 70s.
Fans have been eagerly waiting for an extended first look at the third season of The Crown and Netflix has heard their pleas. The first trailer for season 3 dropped on October 21 and offers a great look at the new cast in a period of huge upheaval in the United Kingdom, the sixties and seventies.
The new season features Olivia Colman as Queen Elizabeth, taking over for Claire Foy, who played the Queen for the first two seasons. Tobias Menzies now stars as Prince Philip, replacing Matt Smith and Vanessa Kirby's Princess Margaret is portrayed by Helena Bonham Carter.

The trailer also offers a first look at the reluctant "Prince Charles", now played by Josh O'Connor, who struggles with finding "true love". The third season of The Crown will be released on Netflix on November 17, stay tuned for more news until then!
