The Next 'Star Wars' Movie' Will Be Directed By The 'Game of Thrones' Showrunners

The next feature film in the Star Wars franchise will be directed by the accomplished executive producers of Game of Thrones, D.B. Weiss and David Benioff. This was confirmed by Disney CEO Bob Iger.

All Star Wars fans will be excited about this! Disney CEO Bob Iger announced on Tuesday that the next feature film in the Star Wars universe will be helmed by the showrunners of HBO's flagship show Game of Thrones. David Benioff and D.B. Weiss' installment for the franchise will take some time to premiere, but we're excited nonetheless.

Disney CEO Bob Iger announced another Star Wars series for Disney+

The Disney boss also said there would be another Star Wars series coming to the Disney+ streaming service, in addition to The Mandalorian and an untitled prequel to Rogue One.
