The Prison Break cast first wowed us on FOX from 2005 until 2009. After the cancellation, the popular drama series featuring Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell eventually got a final chapter in nine parts in 2017!
Wentworth Miller played the lead role of "Michael Scofield" in the beloved action series. "Scofield's" main goal throughout the series was to help his brother "Lincoln" and later his own wife to break out of prison. As we thought in the meantime his wife's breakout led to his death even. "Scofield" returned to the screens in the season 5 spin-off of Prison Break. Click on to find out who else is in the new season of the hit action show.
Dominic Purcell, who plays "Michael's" brother "Lincoln Burrows", is also returning to the show. Both actors took the time to focus on other projects over the last couple of years during Prison Break's absence. In the meantime, both of them have starred in the hit series The Flash since 2014, for instance.
... since 2016 the two save the world as superheroes in The Flash and the Arrow-spin-off series Legends of Tomorrow.
Paul Adelstein is most known for his role as Secret Service Agent "Paul Kellerman" in Prison Break. After the show had ended, he was able to get the role of "Dr. Cooper Freedman" in the Grey's Anatomy spin-off Private Practice. Adelstein then also returned to Prison Break in 2017 playing the role of "Paul" once again.
Amaury Nolasco played the role of inmate "Fernando Sucre" in the TV show Prison Break. After the official series ended in 2010, Nolasco moved on to action movies such as Transformers, and A Good Day To Die Hard. "Fernando" is also present in season 5 of Prison Break.
Even Robert Knepper, alias "Theodore 'T-Bag' Bagwell", returned to the show as well. Before involvement in the fifth season of Prison Break, he was starring in a variety of movies such as R.I.P.D. or The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1.
Sarah Wayne Callies is best known for her role as "Sara Tancredi" in the series Prison Break. "Tancredi" later marries the prison escapee and main character "Michael Scofield" in the last season of the show. Before her involvement in the Prison Break mini-series sequel in 2017, Wayne Callies had played the role of "Lori Grimes" in the AMC series The Walking Dead.
Robin Tunney played the lawyer "Veronica Donovan" in the first season of Prison Break. After a few movie roles, she has also been able to get the female lead role in the TV series The Mentalist in 2008.
Agent "Alexander Mahone" actor William Fichtner has appeared in numerous movie roles after his success in Prison Break, such as The Dark Knight, Drive Angry and Elysium. Fichtner's latest role on the big screen was in the remake of the 1990s sensation Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles back in 2014. His last appearance on the small screen was in the TV show Shooter in 2016.
Peter Stormare played the role of mafia boss "John Abruzzi" in the series Prison Break. Since then he has had a long list of lead roles and guest appearances. Stormare played the role of "Werner Vertigo" in the series Arrow in 2014, too. His last blockbuster appearance was in John Wick: Chapter 2 in 2017, as well as in the series American Gods in 2017, too.
After his breakthrough playing the role of "L.J. Burrows", Marshall Allman was seen in various TV shows. To mention just a few examples, Allman featured in Sons of Anarchy, Life and Mad Men.
Wade Williams took over the leading role of "Captain Brad Bellick" in the series Prison Break from 2005 until 2008. You've probably seen him guest starring in shows like The Night Shift, or NCIS, too.
Jodi Lyn O'Keefe played "Gretchen Morgan" in the third and fourth season of Prison Break. The action series wasn't her only role at the time: O'Keefe was also seen in the sitcom Two and a Half Men during her run on Prison Break. Since then she has had roles in other popular TV shows such as Vampire Diaries (2014-2016) and Hit the Floor (2014-2017).
Michael Rapaport played Agent "Donald Self" in the series Prison Break. Four years after the end of his role in Prison Break, Rapaport received a role in the series The Mob Doctor in 2012. Interestingly enough, he took a shot at a directing in 2011 where he directed the documentary Beats Rhymes & Life - The Travels of A Tribe Called Quest.
After Prison Break, Lane Garrison appeared alongside Mark Wahlberg in the movie Shooter. His personal life has had its share of ups and downs, having been sentenced to a 40 month in prison after being involved in an alcohol and drug-related car accident in which a 17-year old lost his life. Due to good behavior, Garrison was released early and was able to continue his acting career.
For two years, Patricia Wettig played the role of "Caroline Reynolds" in the hit series Prison Break. Wettig later took over the role of "Holly Harper" in the series Brothers & Sisters, which was unfortunately cancelled in 2011.
