In every movie, there is always good and evil. Of course everybody wants good to conquer evil, but without evil itself it's only half the fun to watch. This is precisely the reason why we made a list of our top 13 favorite movie villains of all time. Let's get to it!
Dalmatians are probably some of the cutest dogs you've ever seen. Nevertheless, "Cruella De Vil" wants to make a fur coat out of Dalmatian fur. Her animal abusive intentions are definitely deserving of the 13th place on our list.
Next up on our list is the terrible "Mr. Smith". After "Neo" takes the red pill and exits the matrix, he becomes "Agent Smith's" number one target. His emotionless, inhuman behavior lands him the number 12 on our list.
"Batman" alone wasn't capable to stop "Poison Ivy" in her tracks without the help of "Robin". The crimson beauty turns "Gotham" upside down with her wild schemes and derserves the 11th place on our list.
The next spot on our list strikes fear into both muggles and wizards alike. The legendary "Lord Voldemort" has one goal and one goal only: to kill Harry Potter. His ruthless dedication and general creepy appearance makes "Lord Voldermort" worthy of the 10th spot on our list.
This deadly blonde isn't shy to show her sexuality with her irresistable looks in the movie Basic Instinct. As soon as "Catherine Tramell" gets her male victims in bed, they're done for. She definitely deserves the number 9 our list.
Next up on our evil little list is no other than "Gordon Gekko" himself. Michael Douglas definitely proved to us that not every villain has to be a violent murderer. The psychological manipulation that "Gekko" pulls off is no short of terrifying!
The shower scene in the cult classic Psycho, including the scream of course, is probably one of the most recognized in film history. Now we're all scared to stay at any motel, thanks to mama's boy "Norman Bates", and definitely secures the 7th spot on our list.
"Elle Driver" was the only character ever, who's whistling we just couldn't get out of our heads. This lovely blonde is definitely a worthy opponent for "The Bride", alias Uma Thurman. There is no other person filled with so much hate, which makes her perfect for our number 6 spot.
The acclaimed author Stephen King brought some of the most horrifying villains to life and "Jack Torrance" is without a doubt one of the worst. The scene were "Torrance" drives an ax into the door and screams "Here's Johnny!" is just plain unforgettable. His purely evil grin has cemented itself into the heads of millions of fans. A well deserved 5th place.
Most people love a good steak once and a while. "Hannibal Lector" isn't any different, except he prefers human meat. The intelligent serial killer makes the lives of law enforcemant rather diffcult. Jodie Foster is the only one who comes out alive. We rightfully bestow our 4th spot on our list to our favorite murderer.
Moving on to our worst nightmare, "Freddy Krueger". After you've seen A Nightmare of Elmstreet, you'll be trying to avoid sleep for a while. "Freddy Krueger" returns as the child killer in the dreams of children. What's scarier than that? This is precisly why "Krueger" deserves the third spot in our list.
"This city deserves a better class of criminal and I'm gonna give it to them." is one of the most notorious lines in film history. "The Joker" is known for spreading pure terror across the city of Gotham and even eventually bringing The Dark Knight to his knees. Heath Ledger was only the second actor to ever receive a posthumous Oscar after his convincing performance. A solid number 2 pick.
"Vader's" respitory breathing and legendary voice only make him more terrifying than he already is. "Luke, I am your father!" is probably one of the mosted quoted lines in film history. The man in black secures our number one spot not only on our list of worst villains on earth, but in the galaxy altogether.
