Luke Perry was part of the Beverly Hills, 90210 cast from the very beginning, but took a break from 1995 to 1998. During his time on 90210, he was one of the most eligible bachelors in the United States. After ten seasons, the series was cancelled in 2000. Handsome Luke Perry is now fifty-one and still works as an actor.
He is still good friends with his former 90210 co-star Jason Priestley (48) and rumours circulated that he might have had an affair with fellow ex-cast member Jennie Garth (46), though when questioned about the affair by "Us Weekly", Garth commented, "We are really close friends. I do love him very much, but dating him would just be plain weird".
After 90210 was cancelled, Perry appeared as a guest star in many different TV and film productions, including, amongst others, The Fifth Element, Body of Proof, Raising Hope and Community. In 2014 he starred in the musical film drama The Beat Beneath My Feet. Since 2017, Luke Perry has played one of the leading roles in the hit TV series Riverdale. Just like 90210, it's a teen drama, only these days, Luke Perry is dad to a rebellious teenager instead of being one himself.
Perry was married to model Rachel Sharp for ten years, from 1993 until 2003, with whom he has two children.
